 What is Hypnotherapy and how does it work?
Hypnotherapy induces a relaxed state of mind which allows suggestions to be acted upon much more powerfully than under normal circumstances  The power of conscious criticism is suppressed and you have heightened focus and awareness and suggestions seem to go directly into the unconscious mind. Scientists and researchers have recognised that this trance state has special qualities which lets you control areas of yourself that are normally not available to your conscious mind. A qualfied and trained hypnotherapist can guide you whilst in this trance, but you are always in control - it is your hypnosis.

Virtually anyone who wants to makes changes to their life and achieve their inner potential.

 

What is Neuro Linguistic Programming?
Although it sounds very technical NLP's main aim is to help people to be better at what they do. NLP is rooted in real life behaviour and is based on how people have become successful and  how they have achieved their aims and made their lives better. Put simply it is the ability to be your best more often.
 

What can I expect to happen during a session?

The first 20-30minutes will be a discussion on the issues and clarifying exactly what YOU want  to achieve. We will identify your conscious aims and objectives.We will then induce a peaceful trance during which time I will formulate suggestions  based on the changes you have identified.  The time will pass by very quickly and you will feel very relaxed.  Some issues are dealt with in one session and others may need two or three sessions.

 

About me

I am registered with The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and am accredited by the National Regulatory Register for Hypnotherapy. I am based in Inverness in the Highlands and am fully Insured and offer a confidential  supportive service.   My intention is to help individuals focus their own resources on what they want to achieve. 

 

I am (I hope!) approachable, cheerful and non-judgemental.
